A half hour out of Williams I stop at a rest area for a break:

And again a hour later at the Meteor Crater Rest Stop.  Too tired to visit the crater.  Remembering the considerable difference 'twix Loves and the other guy, when I saw the sign for the Loves in Joseph City I stopped in.  It is only about 10 miles from Holbrook, and I'm not going to push the 150+ miles to Milan.  This way I can just get up, get breakfast at Denny's, and Scoot.  Will get gas around Gallup.

I made the killer first day!  12 hours on the road, 569 miles from home, at 63 mph average close to 9 hours in the saddle.  I REALLY feel it.  Gas stops take quite a bit more than 5 minutes.  Checked in, got my room card (2nd floor!) chained the bike to the stairs.  They have Wi-Fi !!!
