This time the room is facing a quiet side street.  Again 1st floor, a nice fat post to loop the chain around and through front disk and frame.  Yeah, the chain can be cut, but it'll stop most people.

I like the Motel-6 chain -- economical, all over the place, and all the rooms are the same.  Meaning, like Denny's, you get a known acceptable quality.  You can have one or two beds, as you can tell by the lamp, the room is ready for two beds.  By opting for a single king size bed you get the table/chair in lieu of the second bed.  The perfect place for playing on the laptop.

Did I mention a bit of a sunburn on the forehead?  More annoying than painful.
